Who is eligible for npi

The NPI number has opened the door to a population of individuals who had not previously utilized my services. Not only does this credential validate all the hard work necessary to earn it, but in addition it provides a distinction from others in the field who do not have a NPI number to better serve their clients.

Having an NPI number has given me credibility with doctors and clients and allowed me to open up additional doors and revenue streams. These are the health care providers who are individuals, including physicians, dentists, and all sole proprietors. If you are an individual then you are eligible for only one NPI.
