User Info: maxjay I say kill Derrick because dosent he turn on u later in the game? User Info: aniemecools. Top Voted Answer. Kill Francis - You don't get anything but the mission "Undertaker" is a bit easier since the cops won't get involved.
Kill Derrick - Money 10, I think and the ability to call Francis once and remove wanted ratings. However, this will make the "Undertaker" mission a little bit harder since you will have a two star wanted level during it. User Info: Sancho If you plan on playing that same game after you beat the main storyline, kill Francis. User Info: wickedjuggalo Kill the cop the level is easy and know one knows it was you idk how much money you get the cops don't get involed and you just have to get away from the mafia.
I'd say kill Francis because he's a total a-hole. Though, if you spare Francis and kill Derrick, you can call Francis to get a rid of up to three stars. User Info: brad Kill Derrick : He can remove up to 3 wanted stars once a day i think , but this is pretty pointless seeing as Kiki a girlfriend on lovemeet can do the same thing all day.
Kill Francis : The mission undertaker is slightly easier and you wont be killing a good character! There isnt really much difference depending on whom you kill like other choices in the game So you might as well just kill the guy you dont like. I did both but i thought having either one alive was pretty pointless only because if you have the wanted down cheat or have kiki you wouldnt need francis and derrick doesnt do anything.
To me it was just two different ways the McReary family reacted to one of theyre deaths. Kill francis. Niko's fateful decision in Grand Theft Auto 4 takes place during the mission "Blood Brothers," which starts with Niko meeting Francis at a club to talk.
Francis explains that he wants Derrick dead to keep Liberty City safe , with the actual reason being Francis' desire to prevent Derrick from leaking incriminating evidence against Francis to the media that would destroy his career in the police force. Francis crafts a plan to meet Derrick at a park, which would give Niko a chance to take him out. Things become more complicated for Niko when Derrick calls him later, voicing his concerns that Francis wants him dead and urging Niko to kill Francis in the park instead.
When the day of the park meeting arrives, Niko climbs onto a nearby roof at Francis's request and retrieves his sniper rifle, which players will use to assassinate either brother. After completing the hit, Niko will contact Francis and blackmail him with the information that Derrick was going to take to the media. This prompts the surviving brother to allow Niko to remove wanted levels that are up to three stars for the remainder of Grand Theft Auto 4's story.
Choosing to kill Francis only has one positive benefit - raising the friendship level between Niko and Packie, a brother of Francis and Derrick. Raising this friendship level allows Niko to request phone bombs from Packie, which he can place under cars and detonated using Niko's cell phone.
The choice to take out Derrick seems to have more gameplay-focused benefits for Niko, providing him with money and the ability to lower wanted levels to aid in his criminal activities in Grand Theft Auto 4.
