Why is iceman so powerful

That's hotter than the surface of the sun. His fiery form also generates enough hydrogen energy to propel him in flight, sometimes at supersonic speed. Human Torch is also very strong and durable, holding his own against other superpowered adversaries in battle. And with all that heat energy, it's no surprise that Human Torch is immune to the negative effects of cold. In spite of having opposite powers, Iceman and Human Torch have a lot in common.
